Saddleback Church is another megachurch that had to make the list — but not for the same reason as most of the others here. In this case, we want to point out how the multi-church organization has used landing pages to promote its outreach-focused activities.
Saddleback is known for its impressively popular Light of the World Christmas lights-fueled experience. The event is massive, and it rallies the resources of the entire Church — including its website.
Saddleback has created a landing page exclusively for its Lake Forest campus event. Once again, this focuses on communicating critical information in a fun and inviting manner. Along with pictures and promos of the event itself, the site has clearly labeled, easy-to-find registration buttons as well as a lengthy FAQ section.
Saddleback demonstrates a great use of its site’s Christmas “real estate” not just for a Christmas service itself, but also for any related ministry or outreach events.
Willow Creek Church
Willow Creek Church has a great Christmas landing page. It includes motion graphics and gorgeous pictures. It uses white space wisely and includes important information, such as campus locations and dates of Christmas services.
Willow also has a great text teaser about the theme of its Christmas services. It gives just enough information to pique interest without giving anything away.
The ministry also includes all of its extracurricular Christmas events right at the bottom of the landing page, wisely opting to keep everything in one space.

Westside Family Church
Westside Family Church offers a simple-yet-effective approach to the Christmas landing page concept. For instance, its candlelit Christmas Eve services are promoted on a single page that includes locations, times, and live stream options.
This approach works well partly due to the fact that Westside stays busy at this time of year. From a “Christmas at the Movies” event to multiple Christmas Eve service options and even a “Kickoff to Christmas” service in early December, Westsiders have a lot going on in December.

Each of these events is given its own page to house specific information. However, everything is collected into a single landing page under the easily memorable URL “northpoint.org/christmas.”
This, in effect, turns the church’s Christmas landing page into a hub for all things holidays. Once again, it’s a great way to keep things easy to find, even when you have a lot going on.
Gateway Church
Gateway Church has many of the hallmark Christmas landing page elements that we’ve been highlighting throughout this list. It has great visuals, a simple layout, and a convenient collection of holiday events all collected in a single place.
In this case, though, there’s one unique factor worth consideration: how they position the Christmas info on their home page.
Rather than having a banner partway down, they include a simple button that reads “Celebrate Christmas with us!” right at the top when the page loads. The button is blue against a dark maroon background and immediately grabs one’s attention.

Once on the Christmas site, information can be found that applies to all of the Seacoast campuses. What to wear, length of services, and children’s ministry questions are all answered, and a brief description of the congregation’s Christmas services is also included.
From there, visitors can select a further button to be taken to a menu where they can select the location that they want to visit.

Taking Your Christmas Landing Page Seriously
As the above examples clearly show, there are many, many different ways to go about creating a Christmas landing page.
You can create a single page or multiple pages for each of your campuses or events. You should always include essential information, but how you present it can also vary.
The important thing is that you take the time to take your Christmas landing page seriously. Don’t just use it as a random, out-of-the-way spot on your site to dump temporary info.
