Ministry Brands recently released findings from a survey regarding the ongoing impacts of COVID-19. Over 1,400 church leaders from across the country responded to the survey.
Key findings include:
- Nearly 60% of respondents indicated that a reduction in giving income is one of the top challenges facing their church.
- The majority of responding churches are holding a combination of online services and in-person, socially distanced gatherings.
- Over 93% of respondents indicated that online worship and live-streamed services are important options for engaging with members.
- Social media has become a widely accepted and utilized method for engaging members.
