In a move to bring the Gospel to every digital device throughout the world, The Jesus Film Project, a Ministry of Campus Crusade for Christ, has today launched the Jesus Film Media App in the iTunes App Store.
With the iOS app available now and the Android App available within several weeks, this new app offers the entire JESUS Film Project library, some 64,000 video clips, including: JESUS in 1,150 languages plus teaching segments, subsequent films like Magdalena, The Story of Jesus, and My Last Day movie, and the entire Global Short Film Network library — all available in a number of languages.
The goal of this app is to make these Gospel-centered videos more accessible to everyone, all over the world. While everyone is busy rushing around, this is a simple and convenient way to take the small moments in our day to share the gospel with a family member, friend or stranger. It can be used on the bus, at work, at dinner – anywhere. For those who don't feel they are called to evangelize, this eases the anxiety of sharing their faith. Now all they need to do is hit play and share the videos.
While showing people videos about Jesus on your phone is no replacement for real conversations, the goal of this app is to make the Gospel more accessible for those in countries who are far removed from the message of Christ, and to also minister to younger, tech-savvy millennials who look to technology for just about everything.
