Techies unite. In October, the Church IT Network is heading to Atlanta for the 2021 Church IT Conference.

After a virtual conference in 2020, organizers are expecting 300+ church IT, ChMS, Web, Dev, and Online Ministry staff and volunteers to gather. The location is 12Stone Church located in beautiful Duluth, Georgia, on October 13-14.

Church IT Network (CITN)is the leading Church IT organization, with more than 1,500 members from churches of all sizes across North America and beyond. Virtual and in-person registrants have spanned the globe from the states to South Africa and beyond.

Check out the hilarious rollout of this year's event logo on CITN's Facebook and Twitter feeds.

The National Church IT Network Conference is being offered for IT/tech team members of churches to connect and learn from peers and trusted technology partners. Impressively, this is the largest single event for Church IT collaboration, inspiration, and community among peers from churches of all sizes and types. In fact, attendees remain connected throughout the year via Slack and other digital means of networking.

What Others Have Said

Here's what previous Church IT Conference attendees have declared their favorite part of the gathering:

  • Dave from Pennsylvania said “spiritual breakouts” and “great discussions.”
  • Katy from Texas announced: “Everything!”
  • Attendee Hezekiah wrote: “My favorite thing has always been the relationships I build there.”

Admittedly, registrants are excited to meet again in person and continue building their network.

2021 CONFERENCE DETAILS

The annual event will look a little different from the years past. The gathering will be hosted over two full days vs the typical two and a half days.  Additionally, there will be more roundtable discussions, which have always been a meaningful and helpful time for IT pros to begin making connections and sharing practical, front-line tips.  In addition, there's a hard limit on registration slots due to location and time constraints.

Speaker names and bios for the Church IT Conference plenary sessions are not posted yet on the conference website, but there is a notice that it is forthcoming. Author and self-proclaimed “lifetime geek” Don R. Crawley graced the 2019 stage as the keynote speaker.

Want more time to connect? To kick off the conference, all attendees are invited to a pre-event dinner on the evening of October 12.

For those traveling, conference rates are available for local area hotels including:

  • Courtyard Duluth Sugarloaf
  • Residence Inn Duluth Sugarloaf
  • Embassy Suites Sugarloaf
