Veteran church website company, Clover, launched their new product, Clover Donations, back in June. With this long-awaited online giving offering, the company experienced an amazing response.
The company’s blog noted that they now have more churches and non-profits using Clover Donations than they thought they would have in the entire first year. The organizations they serve have used Clover Donations to take in over a million dollars.
In their next phase of Clover Donations, the company plans to simplify the application process as well as look at all the requested features to determine what updates will be made in the near future.
Clover also announced that it will not be able to offer Clover Donations to Canadian churches and nonprofits due to a combination of not being able to find a merchant services partner who could handle the exchange along with more system development needed to offer international online donation services. They hope to overcome these challenges sometime in the future.
