Churches often hold events for kids, youth ministry, families, and the community. A movie night can be a great non-threatening outreach event. Although movies are a wonderful form of entertainment, how does a church select a movie that will not conflict with the Christian worldview, be viewable for an audience of all ages, and also manage to be entertaining?

The best films have a way of sticking with us and leaving an impact on our lives. They also have a way of broadening our minds and improving our relationships. Films that treat marriage as something to be sustained and cherished can bless your relationship, at any stage it's in. 

For a holiday that is known for leprechauns, wearing green, and drinking to excess, I like to take time out to pause and celebrate this patron saint of Ireland, who has an incredible testimony, and whose Breastplate moves me deeply. St. Patrick overcame huge obstacles and trauma in his life to listen to God's call and act--bringing the Christian faith to a whole nation and building a heritage that long outlasted his personal efforts.

The popularity of online education via video and podcasts haven't seen their full potential of growth yet as people continue to seek entertainment, education, and thought-provoking stimuli in the form of short video lectures, usually given at various TED Talks around the world.

Many churches offer midweek ministry options. They are a great way to keep people in connection with God and with other believers in addition to Sunday services. While some people opt not to participate in midweek classes, studies, or youth groups due to distance from church or their schedules, many do find it wonderful to have options for connecting with others and the Word of God during the week.
