As a pastor or outreach director, you are always seeking ways to connect with your community better, to reach out to those who are spiritually open, and to build relationships that can lead to transformative experiences. The 100 Conversations Challenge, a new program offered at 100ConversationsChallenge.com, offers a unique approach to achieving these goals.
The 100 Conversations Challenge is designed to help pastors and church leaders start 100 new conversations with spiritually open individuals in their communities.
The program’s aim is to build a repeatable process, informed by Barna Research, to consistently connect and nurture new relationships with these individuals, even before they step foot inside a church. One of the key aspects of this methodology is to initiate conversations over text messaging first, not face-to-face in public settings.

Participants will build a process to engage neighbors consistently and witness life-change through Gospel-driven relationships.
The 100 Conversations Challenge is not just about starting conversations; it’s about creating a sustainable process for ongoing engagement. Both the training is free as well as the technology, Gloo’s Reach platform that will be used to build the system to connect, track, and nurture the conversations on an on-going basis. There is no on-going cost for the participants. In just six weeks, participants will be on their way to reaching over 100 new people in their zip code, individuals who are asking to discuss their own felt needs and their faith.

The program is structured in a step-by-step manner:
• Join one of the 100 Conversations Challenge cohorts starting either August 1 or October 10.
• Attend the weekly training sessions (or watch the recordings)
• Build the system and team to start over 100 new conversations over the months ahead.
The 100 Conversations Challenge is led by Kenny Jahng, founder of Church Growth Workshops and host of the Church Growth Summit. Jahng has served as Church Online Pastor at one of Outreach Magazine’s Fastest Growing Churches and has worked with a range of strategic marketing clients, including American Bible Society, Wesleyan Church denomination, The United Methodist Church denomination, and others.
The program is building on a successful method of engagement for church leaders. Over 6,000 churches have connected with over 189,000 spiritually open individuals, referred to as “Explorers,” through the methodologies taught in the program.
The 100 Conversations Challenge is an opportunity for pastors to learn new ways of engaging with their communities, to reach out to those who are spiritually open, and to build meaningful relationships that can lead to transformative experiences.
