Matt Engel served as senior leader and adjunct faculty at Arizona State University, using data, analytics, and messaging to drastically increase enrollment and decrease dropouts over a 10-year period. Matt then was called to leverage his expertise as a pastor, which multiplied into helping other churches become more Spirit-led, Christ-centered, and data-informed. Matt is a speaker, author of the novel Fourteen Fridays, and is a subject matter expert on decision science and growth engagement strategy within the Church. Leading the largest network of innovation-minded churches, some of them the most influential churches in the world, he is recognized for his skill in helping church leaders better fulfill their God-given mission by helping them turn interesting data into actionable insight with measurable outcomes through rapid experimentation. Matt lives in Longmont, Colorado, with his wife and their two children.
