Church Base, a leader in custom church software, recently released a completely free full-featured new church management software (ChMS), Church Base Community, to complete the “three pillars of church management; engagement, financial, and community…”, as Church Base’ mission states.

Church Base is known for their custom branded church apps, and has since expanded their platform to become an all-in-one church management platform. The platform now includes the award-winning Custom Church App, a powerful Church Website, a Giving Suite, Sermon Engine, and now the all-new ChMS.

Our mission is to help churches reach and serve more people.” Says Jonathan Bodnar, CEO of Church Base, “It’s as simple as that. And if we can do that by giving away such an integral piece of church management for free, we’re all for that!”

Church Base Community is packed with all the features you’d expect in an enterprise level system, with a few powerful additions that help it stand out from the crowd. Most notably, the ChMS’ integration with the rest of the Church Base platform. Your Church Base Giving portal, donors and events come automatically integrated into the Community module.

Elements that previously required third-party apps and integrations come standard and deeply woven into Church Base Community. User registration and profiles, for example, are integrated automatically throughout your giving, your app, and your Community manager, syncing data natively throughout the system. This saves a lot of time that is wasted managing and recreating donor profiles.

Church Base Community simplifies things like digital check-ins, to make them more user-friendly, effective and allows for unlimited use cases. Your check-ins are integrated into your app, events and event registration, leading to more efficient attendee management.

Communication with your team, congregation and visitors has never been easier. Church Base Community allows for simple SMS, email, or push notifications to go out to groups, volunteers, or individual profiles in your ChMS. The module also has hundreds of integrations like MailChimp, Slack, and more.

Church Base Community comes with a lot of deeply integrated features, but the biggest part of the module may be the fact that it comes at no cost to churches. Thanks to partners such as Unite Life, churches can use the ChMS for completely free. This saves the average church or ministry $4,800 a year in software costs.
