Logos Bible Software has released Logos 5, a set of smart, precise tools and features, extensive, customizable libraries and powerful ways to share the faith. Students of the Bible can explore the Scriptures with advanced searches, personalize their libraries by adding to Logos 5’s base packages, and connect with each other and the Word through the Logos ecosystem, which includes the Faithlife social network’s shared reading plans, notes and prayer requests.

Logos 5’s massive networked libraries, smart searches, original language tools and Bible-knowledge features connect users to the Word,” says Logos President/CEO Bob Pritchett. “And with the free mobile Bible apps, they can take their Christian libraries on the road.”

Logos 5’s new tools include the TimelineClause SearchTopic GuideBible Facts and Sermon Starter Guide. With them, users can see the entirety of biblical and church history, search by phrase and part of clause, search by theme, get to know biblical people, places, things and events, and open up advanced sermon-prep resources, respectively. Logos 5 comes with many more fine-tuned tools and features.

The software brings friends, family, colleagues and churches together through Faithlife, which is wrapped around the world’s largest, most advanced study Bible, the 2.3-million-word Faithlife Study Bible. Pastors and worship leaders can collaborate on multimedia worship services using Proclaim church presentation software’s cloud-synced technology. And readers can bring one-touch Bible references to their Christian fiction and nonfiction with Vyrso Christian ebooks. Logos and Vyrso offer a combined 30,000-plus digital Christian resources.

Discounted by 15 percent for launch, Logos 5’s seven base packages range from the 200-plus resource Starter, now priced around $250 and worth $3,500 in print, to the 2,500–resource Portfolio, now priced under $4,300 and worth $78,000 in print. The intermediate packages are Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum and Diamond.
