There's been much debate about how old children need to be to join Facebook and other social media sites. While 13 seems reasonable enough, there are two sides to every coin: it's well-known that many parents allow their children to get Facebook accounts before their thirteenth birthdays, other parents prefer to hold off until their kids are much older.
