There are so many wonderful resources around the web to assist folks in ministry with church tech advice, insight, and assistance. I wanted to take a moment today to highly six great church tech blogs. Put these on your radar by signing up for their RSS feeds:

1-PastorGear:  Maintained by Tony McCollum, a senior pastor, photographer, designer and general tech nerd. This site is dedicated to helping pastors find stuff that they can use to make their lives easier and their ministries more effective.

2-Mobile Ministry Magazine: Run by Antoine Wright, this blog focuses on “Questions, Approaches, and Experiments at the Intersection of Faith and Mobile Tech.”

3-Church Tech Matters: Run by Jim Walton, CTM is a great resource on everything related to church technology.

4-Churchm.ag: Run by John Saddington’s 8bit Network, ChurchM.ag is a truly tech geeks paradise on everything from code to software to mobile technologies.

5-ChurchTechyRun by Stuart Dyckhoff, ChurchTechy covers Church IT, AV & Media support.

6-Church Tech Arts: Run by Mike Sessler, the Technical Arts Director at Coast Hills Community Church in Aliso Viejo, CA. He has over 20 years of experience working in churches, providing excellent sound, lighting and video. Good blog with lots of practical advice.

So there you have it. Five great tech blogs to put on your radar. As always, thanks for reading ChurchTechToday! If you have any additional blogs to add to my list, please leave a comment below with the URL.

Though Dutch, you can translate in with Google, my (author handbook Church & Internet, most-asked speaker and trainer on the subject since 10 years) website is one of the main ChurchTech websites in The Netherlands, Europa. Please come, visit and leave your feedback.

Oh wow – thank you ever so much Lauren. I guess I’d better get writing then to keep up the readership.

I appreciate the mention and the hoped for rise in readership.

Thanks for the shout out, Lauren!

Add churchtechstuff.com to that radar! They aren’t as frequent in writing as some, but their content is pro and their approach to ministry is great! I’ve learned a ton from that site. Seems to be part of a church team, and they constantly post free content for small churches like us to use – FREE! Their Facebook page usually has more updates than the blog – good stuff though!

Thanks for the suggestions! I already follow several of these, but a couple were new to me. Being new to the church tech blog scene myself, I’m always happy to see what others are contributing. :)

Hey Lauren, thanks for the shout out and inclusion into this listing. Really solid group of sites here, and many of us end up crossing paths in communities such as GCIA, ICCM, and other venues. Is good to know the depth of skills the Body has towards IT. Now to get back towards enabling the Body to do some great Kingdom stuff :)

I try to keep current and potential customers up-to-date on what’s going on in the church and technology world (and of course, with Shelby Systems) on our company blog site. I figured I could do a shout out for it since this is what it’s about.

Great list, too, by the way! We follow most of these already, but we’ll have to check them all out.

      Hi Colleen,

Thanks for your comment and for reading CTT! Hope everything is going well for you at Shelby. Glad you guys take keeping up with technological advancements in the church market seriously!

      Sincerely,
      Lauren

It’s an honor to be on this list — thanks Lauren!

Thank you for the list :)
